We drew the pattern
straight from the park.

Just east of Edmonton, fenced off from highways and city light, Elk Island protects one of the last wild herds of plains and wood bison in the world. Rolling aspen parkland gives way to quiet lakes, beaver ponds, and forest trails that feel untouched by time.

The pattern is a simple map of Elk Island. The blue shapes are the park’s lakes and ponds, Astotin and all the little ones, laid out roughly where you’d find them on the map.

We spent a summer running and hiking the trails out here, crossing each one off the map as we finished it, and this is the version of the park we wanted to carry around. It’s a small place just east of Edmonton, but it doesn’t take long to forget you’re anywhere near a city. That’s where TRAKK started.

What’s actually in the sock

Built to hold up, comfortable enough to forget about.

Made for long days on the trail and the walk to get coffee the next morning. Most of us wear ours for both.

A stay-put cuff

Stays put when everything else is sliding down into your boot. No bunching at the heel.

Moisture Wicking

Merino fibers pull moisture away from the skin to keep feet dry on long days, in any season.

Reinforced Heel & Toe

Added durability exactly where you need it most, built to outlast the trail and the daily grind.

Venting Mesh

Strategic mesh panels improve breathability and temperature regulation when the pace picks up.

Arch Support

A supportive arch band adds structure and stability for hours of movement, from singletrack to sidewalk.

Merino Wool Blend

67% merino wool, naturally odor-resistant, so you can wear it again and again.

Composition

67% Merino Wool · 22% Polyester · 5% Nylon · 6% Elastic

Designed in Edmonton, knit in British Columbia.

The spirit behind TRAKK

Meet Jack.

Jack is an orange cat. He has never climbed a mountain or finished a marathon. Most of his exploring happens from a windowsill, a porch step, or (more often than we’d like to admit) the middle of a keyboard during a design review.

He comes along on the easy hikes. His favourite part is the drive in, when the bison are grazing right beside the road and he sits up in the window to watch them. The rest of the time he inspects new gear before it leaves the house and supervises product sketches with the quiet confidence of someone who is definitely in charge.

That curiosity, not credentials and not summits, became the foundation for TRAKK. You don’t need to be an elite athlete to want to know what’s over the next hill. You just need to be curious enough to go look. Jack reminded us of that, and every sock we make carries a bit of his spirit along for the trip.
